Originally, Apple went with the approach of making the iPod Shuffle a quick and easy iPod alternative for those frequently on the go. You could easily pop the Shuffle into any available USB port to gain a quick charge or sync some of your favorite tunes to take with you for the day.

The second-generation iPod Shuffle has been a huge success with it’s new form factor and built in belt clip. However, some people are turned off by the fact that you need to have the included Apple dock with you in order to connect the newer iPod Shuffle to a USB port.


The concept behind this little gadget is to connect to the audio jack at the bottom of the 2G iPod Shuffle and convert the connection to a standard USB 2.0 connector for quick attachment to your computer or iPod AC Adapter.

There have been cables designed to do this already, but the advantage of this little gadget is the small form factor, making it easy to slip into your wallet or pocket and take anywhere you take your iPod Shuffle.


The eBud provides a simple and easy solution for transferring files, docking, syncing or charging a second generation iPod Shuffle.
